    Jewelry downsizing is carried out once the initial swelling of a fresh piercing has subsided to prevent trauma and migration. This procedure is typically performed within 2-4 weeks, with the exact timing depending on the specific piercing.(If a piercing begins to migrate, it's irreversible, and removal may become necessary. In rare cases, when the migration is minimal, there's still a chance the piercing will heal and remain viable.)

  • Irritation bumb removal

    In 2022 I found my own method of performing this procedure, and refined the post-treatment care required to achieve optimal results. As a result, the duration of treatment for irritation bumps has significantly reduced. With that said, it is crucial to exercise utmost caution in avoiding any accidental contact, tugging, or snagging of your piercings to eliminate the need for this procedure entirely.

  • Dermal anchor cleaning

    The first dermal anchor cleaning should take place after the implant has fully healed. During this process, the top is carefully removed and any residue that may have gathered beneath it during the healing period is cleaned. After that it's recommended to return for a check-up in 6 months and then - once a year. Dermal anchors can have a tendency to migrate, but regular check-ups and cleanings help prevent this issue.

    Dermal anchor removal is a quick and relatively painless procedure and is performed when you've grown tired of your dermal anchor, it's started to migrate on its own, or has experienced trauma. The healing process is similar to that of a small wound, and the visibility of any resulting scar will vary depending on individual scarring tendencies and the amount of scar tissue present from the initial dermal healing.
