PVD Gold Piercing tops

PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) is a process in which the surface of titanium is coated in a vacuum with an extremely thin layer of titanium nitride. The metal is vaporized and bonds to the jewelry at a molecular level, which is why the color does not peel or flake off.
